Origins
When we look back across the fabric of space time, it's hard not to feel a wave of emotion. So many moments, some brilliant, others brutal — each shaping us in ways we couldn't predict. We've watched people lose themselves chasing the promises of this industry. We've seen talent get swallowed whole by ego, success, or the illusion of either. And still, we choose this path. We make music. Not because it's easy. But because it's the only thing that’s ever felt real. The hardest part isn’t the art. It’s trying not to lose your sense of self while you do it.
The studio was always our home. Long before digital made everything instant, gear was a luxury, expensive to attain and unforgiving. You couldn’t fake your way through and had no choice but to get good. While others were figuring out the outside world, we were inside figuring out how to shape sound. The studio is the one place that doesn’t care about trends, excuses, or ego; it only answers to the truth and reveals the flaws. Some days the sound comes easy. Some days it drags us through the mud. Either way, that room keeps you honest, and that’s why we keep coming back.
We were raised us on classic records, strong melodies, and Top-40 songwriting and production. We were inspired by countless artists, producers and songwriters. David Foster, Brian Wilson, Chicago, The Bee Gees, Abba, Neil Diamond, Phil Spector, all the way up to Timberland, Max Martin, Daft Punk and more. It shaped and gave us the kind of ear training that allows us to reacognize sonic gold. We’ve been chasing that feeling ever since. Not nostalgia, but the blood thrilling allure that comes from pursuing something unwordly; from pulling on threads that lead to places unknown.
What We Do
We make, produce and record music. First and foremost, for ourselves. Then for independent and unsigned artists. In addtion, we aim to license these creations to films, ads, games, and anyone else who needs a sound that stands out in a crowded world. Most days we’re in the room - tracking, tweaking, rewriting, chasing a sound or words that didn’t exist that morning. Sometimes we find it. Sometimes it finds us. It's not always easy, though. There are days when nothing works, and the frustration is almost unbearable. But then, there are those rare moments when everything aligns, and the music flows effortlessly. Those moments make all the struggle worthwhile.
We work on songs that don’t have homes yet. Sometimes they become records or singles. Sometimes they stay orphaned for months or years until the right voice shows up. Yes, it sounds cliche, but they really are all our babies. We spend money protecting them. We sacrafice our lives, time, and energy nurturing and developing them into successful artforms. We’ve worked with artists who’ve never released a thing. We’ve had tracks land in films that barely got finished or never released. It doesn’t always work out the way we hope. But when it does, it’s magic. We don’t chase fame or fortune. Of course we'd welcome it, but chasing the sound that makes the hairs on your arm stand up, the melody that gets stuck in your head, the lyric that hits you in the gut or the beat that makes you move. That’s what we live for.
